What You'll Do

As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you'll help customers find the right vehicle while providing an exceptional buying experience from start to finish. You'll:

• Build relationships with new and returning customers.
• Listen to customers and help match them with the right vehicle.
• Present and demonstrate vehicle features and technology.
• Conduct professional test drives.
• Guide customers through the vehicle selection and purchasing process.
• Follow up with customers and build relationships that generate repeat and referral business.
• Work alongside our management, finance, and service teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Cooper Hyundai is growing and we're looking for experienced, motivated Automotive Service Technicians to join our high-volume, state-of-the-art Service Department in Anniston, Alabama. If you're a self-driven technician who enjoys turning hours, diagnosing complex repairs, and advancing your career, we want to hear from you. Whether you have Hyundai experience or are coming from another manufacturer, Cooper Hyundai offers the training, support, and opportunities to help you succeed.

Position Summary:

We're seeking a technician capable of diagnosing and repairing most vehicle systems with minimal supervision from an A-Level Technician, Shop Foreman, or Team Leader. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong diagnostic skills, embraces new vehicle technology, and is committed to continuous learning and professional growth. Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other manufacturers through its Hyundai Technical Training Equivalency Assessment Program, allowing qualified technicians to accelerate their Hyundai certification by testing out of select instructor-led technical training courses.

Qualifications:

• Previous Automotive Service Technician experience required.
• 1–3 years of professional automotive repair experience preferred.
• Hyundai and/or Kia experience preferred.
• Experience with another OEM manufacturer welcomed.
• ASE Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform complex mechanical repairs.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Team-oriented attitude.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record .

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicle systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Complete repairs efficiently and accurately while meeting manufacturer standards.
• Communicate repair recommendations with Service Advisors.
• Maintain detailed repair documentation.
• Continue developing technical skills through Hyundai factory training.
• Stay current on evolving automotive technology and repair procedures.

Hyundai Technical Training Equivalency Assessment Program

Hyundai recognizes experienced technicians from other OEM manufacturers.

Qualified technicians with industry-recognized manufacturer training may be eligible to test out of select Hyundai instructor-led technical training courses, helping accelerate the transition into Hyundai certification while continuing to build their careers.
